These amazing British speakers are a three way system designed to be connected to the actively crossed over amps. They have no crossover of their own. Linn states that up to 70% of the energy coming from an amp is eaten up in the passive crossovers inside speakers. Also it is misnomer that speakers are hard to drive, in reality it is crossovers that are difficult to drive. These speakers sound totally different from anything you've heard. Full, rich, detailed and totally musical.



They are finished on all sides in beautiful maple and come with a base and spikes.I also have three of the matching amps with electronic crossovers already installed in each. One for the Bass, one for the Mids and one for the Treble.

If you're looking for a big impressive looking mega watt power amp than this amp is not for you. However if you want an amp that is detailed and without harshness or grain and don't mind an elegantly simple looking amp than this one's for you.



Rated at 50 watts per/chan with lots of current and wonderful sound as with most Linn products. This amp can be used with Linn active systems. It has multiple speaker output connectors in case you want to bi-wire and has an audio out to connect to a powered sub-woofer.

The McIntosh C-712 is a full featured preamp. With phono inputs, balanced outputs, tape monitor loops and yes tone controls for those lousy recordings. It comes with a full featured McIntosh system remote. This preamp has a similar sound to the McIntosh vintage tube units. Warm and smooth while still managing to be detailed. It also has the trade mark retro McIntosh look with all the controls lit from behind a glass panel. It also has the very rare feature of having a headphone jack on the front panel.
